National Garden Clubs, Inc. is a not-for-profit educational organization composed of 50 state garden club organizations, 5,000 member garden clubs and 175,000 members.
NGC also has 60 national affiliated organizations and nearly 330 international affiliations around the globe. The first garden club was founded in 1891 in Georgia. In 1929, 13 federated states became charter members of NGC. The current headquarters is in St. Louis, Missouri.
It provides educational material and resources to promote gardening, floral design, civic beauty and environmental responsibility.

Pacific Region is one of eight regions that make up the National Garden Clubs organization and is comprised of garden clubs in Washington, Arizona, California, Oregon, Nevada, Idaho, Alaska, and Hawaii.
California Garden Clubs, Inc. is a state wide federation representing 350 garden clubs, associate plant societies, affiliates and youth clubs/projects with over 21,000 members. Its mission is to co-ordinate and centralize the work of California garden clubs in promoting interest in horticulture, gardening, floral design, landscaping, conservation of our natural resources, civic beauty and education in these areas.

San Fernando Valley District was organized in 1932 to represent local garden clubs. There are 10 member clubs with 494 members and one youth group. Meetings are held at the Sepulveda Garden Center, 16633, Magnolia Boulevard, Encino. Click here for an interactive map with satellite and street views.
